Gathering stakeholder perspectives and modeling emotion regulation to predict youth suicidal behaviors (Sabrina M. Darrow, PhD)

This study is using data collected during Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) to develop models of dynamic near-time predictors of youth suicide and identify patterns of change to improve DBT-A. Stakeholders, including those with lived experience of self-harm, suicide, and DBT, are involved throughout the study to increase the utility of the results in real-world settings.

Refining and evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of implementing a telehealth risk management service with parents of suicidal youth (Sabrina M. Darrow, PhD)

Our team has developed a workshop for parents of teens who are at risk of self-harm. The workshop is delivered remotely and aims to help parents keep teens safe at home and engage in outpatient services. This study aims to improve the feasibility and acceptability of this risk management service for future rigorous testing as well as real world implementation.
